Refund policy
Last updated August 15, 2026
The policy
If ApprovalTrail Pro doesn’t do what this site says it does, email [email protected] within 30 days of purchase and we’ll refund you in full. No form, no exit survey, no “let us try to save this first” call.
What a refund does and doesn’t do
- A refund ends the license. Activations are disabled and updates stop.
- It does not touch your data or your running plugin. The plugin you have installed keeps running exactly as it did before, and your proofs, records, and any certificates you’ve already generated stay in place and readable. Refunding your license is not the same as uninstalling the plugin, and we don’t ask you to uninstall it.
- The free tier stays free regardless. If you decide Pro wasn’t worth it, you’re not left without the core workflow — the free WordPress.org build has unlimited proofs and no metered cap, refunded or not.
Before you buy
Install the free build and send yourself a proof first if you are still deciding — it answers the question better than a feature table can. Buying Pro and asking for it back inside thirty days costs you nothing either way.
What’s excluded
- Renewal charges you didn’t cancel in time are refundable under this same 30-day window from the renewal date, not the original purchase date.
- We can’t refund a purchase that was made more than 30 days ago; if you have an unusual situation outside that window, email us anyway — we’d rather hear about a problem than have you assume the door is closed.
How to request one
Email [email protected] with the email address or order reference from your purchase. We aim to process refunds within a few business days; the exact turnaround depends on Stripe’s refund processing time, typically 5–10 business days to appear back on your card.
